How to play Hangman to learn
The environment in Welsh
- Select "Hangman" from the Welsh games page.
- On the settings screen you can change topic or click "PLAY" to start the game.
- The scene is a beach - there is a Welsh keyboard and empty numbered boxes for a Welsh word or phrase.
- Spaces between words are marked by an underscore ( _ ) while other punctuation (.,-') is filled in for you.
- Guess letters in the word or phrase by clicking keys on the keyboard.
- Correct guesses add that letter to the appropriate spaces in the word or phrase.
- Wrong guesses add pieces to the gallows and hangman. Wrong letters are displayed above the keyboard with a cross next to them.
- Continue guessing until you complete the Welsh vocabulary or your character is hung.
- If you win, you get to see the win animation and get some music.
- If you lose, no animation, no music, just some gloomy boings - switch them off by clicking on the gallows.
- Click an option on the green sign to continue.
